This covers all Philippine-based restaurants, bistros, bars and similar establishments that are tagged by the merchant's credit card acquirer as having Merchant Category ¹ Codes 5921, 5814, 5813, 5462 and 5499. A minimum accumulated spend of PHP5,000 per month is required on the card to earn accelerated points.

A maximum, accumulated monthly spend of PHP60,000, across the pre-defined merchant categories, shall earn accelerated points. Amounts in excess of PHP60,000 shall earn the regular Bonus Points following the standard Bonus Points Earn Rate of 1 Bonus Point for every PHP20 spend.

Computation of accelerated points will be done once a month and will be credited to the card account every 25^th banking day of the following month.

4,000 FREE Miles Terms and Conditions

1. HSBC's Acquisition promotion (the "Promo") is open to individual applicants applying for a primary HSBC Platinum Visa credit card ("credit card") and are subsequently approved (the "Cardholder") from March 20 to June 30, 2013 (the "Application Promo Period"). Spend period is from 20 March to 31 August 2013.

2.Under this promotion, Cardholder shall be entitled to a one-time crediting of 20,000 Bonus Points, which may be redeemed for rewards items or air miles (4,000 miles under the Asia Miles and KrisFlyer frequent flyer programs or 3,333 miles under the Mabuhay Miles frequent flyer program) once the approved credit card is activated and an accumulated local or international spend of PHP5,000.00 (the "Promo Spend") is met. HSBC's Balance Transfer and Cash Installment Plan transactions are qualified. Cash Advance, Fees and charges such as annual fees, late charges, finance charges, credit card sales slip retrieval fees, cash advance fees, over limit fees and debit adjustments are excluded from the Promo. The Promo spend must be met on or before August 31, 2013 (the "Promo Spend Period").

3. The 20,000 Bonus Points will be credited to the Cardholder's credit card account one month after meeting the Promo Spend.

4. Enrollment to Asia Miles, Kris Flyer or Mabuhay Miles frequent flyer programs is subject to applicable annual mileage program fee of Php500.00.

5. The Cardholder will be charged the amount of Php2,000 should the Cardholder cancel the qualifying Promo Spend at a later date.

6. The Cardholder agrees not to cancel the credit card within 18 months from approval of the credit card. If the Cardholder requests for card cancellation, the Cardholder must pay a cancellation fee amounting to Php2,000.

7. In case of dispute in respect of the Cardholder's eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, etc., HSBC's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the eligibility for the Promo or for any Bonus Points shall be resolved by HSBC and DTI.

8. All credit card applications shall be subject to HSBCs final credit card approval and credit card terms and conditions.
