Terms and Conditions

The HSBC - Visa Olympics Promotion (the "Promo") is open to all locally issued HSBC Classic, Powervantage, Advance and Premier Visa debit cardholders ("Cardholders") whose debit cards are in active status (i.e. card must not be cancelled).
Employees of HSBC, Visa, their advertising, Below the line, Public Relations and media agencies, their accredited service providers, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the Promo or enjoying the benefits of the Promo.
From March 30, 2012 to June 15, 2012 ("Promo Period"), Debit Cardholders who make a valid local or overseas purchase with a minimum spend of P1,000 (or in any foreign currency equivalent to P1,000 base on the Php exchange rate at the time of the transaction) in a single receipt against their HSBC Classic, Powervantage, Advance or Premier Visa debit card shall be entitled to:
- one (1) electronic raffle entry for every P1,000 of single receipt on local purchases
- five (5) electronic raffle entry for every P1,000 of single receipt on overseas purchases
Below are the criteria set for a valid purchase covered by the Promo:
1. Debit Card used should be HSBC Classic, Powervantage, Advance or Premier Visa
2. Valid retail purchase transactions are inclusive of domestic and international transactions from March 30, 2012 to June 15, 2012
The following transactions and charges are specifically excluded from the Promo:
- Withdrawals from ATMs
- Casino transactions
- Fees and charges incurred
Electronic raffle entries will be randomly assigned to the HSBC Debit Cardholders upon a local or overseas purchase amounting or equivalent to P1,000 or more.
Local or overseas purchases of more than P1,000 (or in any foreign currency equivalent to P1,000) in a single receipt will be computed into multiples of P1,000 and will be given the corresponding number of electronic raffle number entries. Any excess amount that is less than P1,000 will not be eligible for any electronic raffle entry. Receipts cannot be combined.
There will be one (1) raffle draw, and three (3) winners will be drawn, with the corresponding raffle prizes as follows:
- one (1) winner of London 2012 Olympic Games Package for two (2) inclusive of the following:
  - Two (2) roundtrip economy airfares to London, United Kingdom from Manila via Singapore Airlines (inclusive of airfare, related taxes and charges) Tour package date is from July 29, 2012 until August 1, 2012;
  - Airport meet-and-greet service on arrival;
  - Four (4) days/ three (3) nights 4 Star hotel accommodation based on double occupancy
  - Daily Breakfast for two (2) (only scheduled group meal)
  - One (1) Visa Olympic themed prepaid card valued at £150 per person
  - Minimum of two (2) tickets per person to preselected London 2012 events, including event transportation via London public transport only.
  - Event transportation to be provided via London public transport
  - One (1) self-guided Hop-On/Hop-Off Bus Tour of London and Attraction Pass for the winner and travel companion;
  - Visa Olympic-themed merchandise
  - Hospitality desk
  - Event support staff
- two (2) winners of iPod Touch 8GB 4^th Generation
Prizes are transferable and are not convertible to cash. The 20% prize tax for London 2012 Olympic Games Package, airfare taxes and sub charges shall be shouldered by Visa, where applicable. The winner shall be responsible for obtaining the necessary UK Visitors Visa for the trip. Passport and UK Visitors Visa application shall be shouldered by the winner. Trip and tour dates cannot be changed. The 20% prize tax for the iPod Touch 8GB 4^th Generation units shall be shouldered by HSBC, where applicable.
The raffle draw will be held at the HSBC office located at the 9th Floor, HSBC Centre, 3058 Fifth Avenue West Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, on June 20, 2012 at 3pm, in the presence of a DTI representative.
Cardholders can win only once during the raffle draw. If a cardholder's name is drawn more than once, he / she shall be awarded the prize with the higher value.
Cardholders assigned to the drawn raffle number will be validated against HSBC's records. Cardholder's account must be active as of raffle draw date to be able to qualify to win.
Winners shall be announced online on HSBC's public website www.hsbc.com.ph. Also, winner shall be notified via telephone and registered mail based on the Cardholders' contact details in HSBC's records.
To initiate claiming of the prize, winner must present the following: official notification letter, winning HSBC Classic, Powervantage, Advance or Premier Visa Debit Card and any valid ID (Company ID with picture and signature, Driver's License, SSS ID and Voter's ID) at the 9th Floor, HSBC Centre 3058 Fifth Avenue West Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Winner must then comply with claim procedures and schedule as instructed by HSBC or Visa.
Redemption of prizes must be made on or before July 10, 2012.
HSBC or Visa shall not be obliged to recognize or replace any item won through this Promo that is lost or stolen as a result of the Cardholder's own negligence.
Winners authorize HSBC and Visa to disclose and publish their names, photos and other particulars determined by HSBC to any person/s and in any mode or manner as HSBC and Visa may deem appropriate.
All matters and disputes will be subject to the final decision of HSBC and Visa. All decisions made by HSBC and Visa pertaining to the Promo will be deemed final and irrevocable, with the prior concurrence of the DTI.
This Promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions of HSBC's Credit Card Products.
HSBC and Visa do not assume any responsibility for the products and services offered under this promotion. The products are sold and services are provided solely by the relevant vendors, under such terms and conditions as determined by such vendors. HSBC and Visa accept no liability whatsoever in connection with such products and services. The products and services have not been certified by HSBC or Visa and under no circumstances shall the inclusion of any product or service in this promotion be construed as an endorsement or recommendation of such product or service by HSBC or Visa.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VISA LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES USAGE PROMOTION

By participating in the London 2012 Olympic Games Usage Promotion ("Promotion"), the participants hereby expressly agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited ("Visa", "Promoter").

Eligibility
1. 1.1 The Promotion is open to all principal and supplementary holders of Visa Debit, Credit, Prepaid and Electron cards issued in Philippines and abroad ("Cards") ("Cardholders") with no minimum spending required.
2. 1.2 Only Visa transactions done in Ayala Malls are eligible for the Promotion.
3. 1.3 Cardholders whose accounts are suspended or terminated are not eligible to join.
4. 1.4 The following transactions are also NOT eligible:
  1. cash advances;
  2. ATM withdrawals;
  3. annual fees;
  4. interest charges;
  5. late charges;
  6. balance transfer

The Promotion Mechanics and Conditions

2.1 The Promotion commences on March 15, 2012 and ends on June 15, 2012. Refer to the table below for the draw dates and corresponding entry period.

2.2 To qualify for this Promotion, eligible Cardholders must satisfy the following requirements:
1. Cardholders must spend using any of their Cards at Ayala Mall and/or its merchants within the Promotion Period.
2. No minimum spend will be required but every P500 purchase will entitle the Cardholder to 1 raffle ticket (i.e. P500 and below spend=1 raffle ticket, P1,000 spend=2 raffle tickets, P1,500=3 raffle tickets, and so on).
3. Raffle tickets may be claimed from the Visa Promo Booth in key designated areas in the mall upon presentation of a valid Visa transaction receipt in an Ayala Mall merchant or outlet. Transaction period should be from March 15 to June 15, 2012 only.
4. Entry is only open to Cardholders aged 18 years or older with a valid passport and who are able to travel to and remain in London, United Kingdom for the period 24th July 2012 – 15th August 2012 (inclusive) (Visa cardholders). Promoter will provide necessary paperwork for UK Visitor Visa application but does not guarantee Visa approval for all winners. In case a winner is not eligible or is denied for a UK Visitor Visa, the Olympic package prize will be awarded to the alternate winner. Winner will likewise shoulder the cost of UK Visitor Visa processing and application.
5. Visa cardholders aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of Visa cardholders who are under the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Conditions of Entry will bind the Visa cardholders and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for Visa cardholders aged under 18 years). If any Prize winner is aged under 18 years, the Prize winner must be accompanied for the duration of the Prize by the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner entering the promotion.
2.3 Information provided by Cardholders in submitting their entries for the Promotion will be used by Visa and its agency for administering the Promotion. Visa and its agency may pass such information to its authorized service providers for management of the Promotion, data processing, prize redemption management and analysis and other purposes related to the Promotion. After the Promotion is completed, all data in hard and soft copy will be securely disposed of at all its data sources. By accepting these Terms and Conditions and participating in the Promotion, Cardholders have consented and are deemed to have consented to such use.
2.4 By participating in this Promotion, Cardholders agree to take part in any promotion or publicity exercise as may be conducted by Visa and/or any of its representatives, its permitted assigns, and the participating Cardholders hereby irrevocably and unconditionally grant Visa all consents and waivers necessary for Visa to record and use the Cardholders' performance, appearance, likeness, name, voice and/or particulars (as the case may be) in any manner as Visa shall in its sole discretion deem fit. The participating Cardholders acknowledge that Visa shall be at liberty to publish and otherwise use any recordings made by Visa , without limitation, telephone recordings, audio recordings, visual recordings and photographs (if any), for the Promotion and publicity of this Promotion (whether now or in the future). Where permissible, each participating Cardholder expressly waives all rights, which the participating Cardholder may acquire or have under the law (and any subsequent enactment or amendments thereto) in relation to such recordings.
2.5 All entries remain the sole property of Visa. The participating Cardholders hereby give their consent to and authorize Visa to disclose their particulars to the third party service providers engaged by Visa for purposes of the Promotion. Visa warrants that the disclosure of such particulars to any third party service providers shall be limited to the information as submitted by the participating Cardholders and shall be used only in relation to and for purposes of the Promotion. All participating Cardholders' information that are submitted shall be held within Visa's secure database of entries. Data from Visa's agency's system will be deleted in the presence of an external auditor within fifteen (15) days after the end of the Promotion.

Determination of the Prize Winners
1. 3.1 The selection of potential winners will take place at the 5th flr. Glorietta 4 Office on the following draw dates: - Manual Raffle Draw

  3. Draw 3 June 30, 3012 (15:00:00)
2. 3.2 Drawn winners will have their entries verified through their respective banks to confirm that they are based on valid transactions within 48hours. Their raffle entry details should match details from their bank such as date of transaction, transaction amount, where the transaction is made and correct name of Cardholder to be considered as a bona fide transaction. Should the Cardholder be disqualified, three other entries will be drawn as buffers.
3. 3.3 Once validated, the winners will be informed on how to claim their prizes and will be sent a registered mail of congratulations afterwards.
  1. Prize will be claimed at the Ayala Mall where purchase was made
  2. Winners should present 2 valid IDs along with the original transaction slip, the winning Card, their TIN number and the letter of congratulations from Visa.
  3. The period during which the prizes can be claimed is sixty (60) days from the receipt of notice via registered mail. Prizes not claimed within this 60 -day period will be forfeited upon approval from DTI.
  4. Winners must fill up the necessary forms and claim required by Visa to certify that prize awarded has been received.
4. 3.4 If a winner failed to claim the prize within 60 days after the winner has received the written notification, the prize will be forfeited in favor of Visa upon approval from DTI.

There will be 1 Grand Prize winner and 4 consolation prize winners per month. Details of prize allotments are as follows: Prizes are transferable but not convertible to cash.

4.2 Grand Prize Winner: The top monthly winner per month will receive a London Olympics Package for 2 inclusive of the following:
1. two (2) round trip economy airfares to London, United Kingdom from Manila via Singapore Airlines (inclusive of airfare, related taxes and charges);
2. airport meet-and-greet service on arrival;
3. four (4) nights four (4) star accommodation at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in London, United Kingdom (twin share) (or similar) (Hotel), including breakfast daily;
4. return transfers to and from the destination airport and the Hotel via train and motor coach;
5. one (1) Visa Olympic Prepaid Card for each of the winner and travel companion, valued at £150.00 pounds each;
6. up to two (2) – four (4) tickets* per person to preselected 2012 Olympic Games events, including event transportation via London public transport only. The precise quantity and type of Olympic events for attendance by the winner and travel companion will be determined by the Promoter prior to the departure of the winner and travel companion from Manila., one (1) self-guided Hop-on/Hop-off Bus Tour of London and Attraction pass for the winner and travel companion;
7. Visa Olympic Games themed merchandise; and
8. participation in an exclusive Olympic Games ceremony viewing at the Hotel, including food and beverages.
April and June winners will also receive two (2) tickets to the Opening Ceremonies and Closing ceremonies, respectively, valued at USD1,500.

On top of the London Olympic package, the Grand Prize winner will also receive the following:
1. One (1) set of His and Hers Omega watches
2. One (1) unit Panasonic 42" Plasma TV
3. One (1) unit Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000
4. One (1) unit Samsung i8150 Phone

*Tickets to the 2012 Summer Games, whether awarded as a prize and/or are included as part of a promotion, must be accepted as awarded and are subject to all of the applicable terms and conditions prescribed to such tickets from time to time by the London Organizing Committee for the 2012 Olympic Summer Games (LOCOG). Such terms and conditions are contained in the Ticket License Agreement (which can be reviewed at www.tickets.london2012.com/purchaseterms.html, on the back of the physical ticket (once issued) and include prohibitions against any use of the ticket in connection with any commercial promotion or contest (without the consent of LOCOG) and the unauthorized sale of the ticket in excess of face value of the ticket. By accepting tickets as a prize and/or as part of a promotion, the holder is deemed to have accepted all of the applicable terms and conditions.

4.3 Twelve (12) Consolation monthly prize winners will receive the following:
1. 3 winners of One (1) unit Panasonic 42" Plasma TV
2. 3 winners of One (1) unit Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000
3. 3 winners of One (1) unit Samsung i8150 Phone
4. 3 winners of One (1) unit Acer A0722-C60
There will be a total of thirteen (13) winners per month (1 Grand prize winner and 12 consolation prize winners) and a total of thirty-nine (39) winners for the whole promo duration.
4.4 A Cardholder may win only one prize for this Promotion. If drawn twice, Cardholder get the prize of higher value.
4.5 Non-winning entries will still be eligible for the succeeding draws until the end of the Promotion Period.
4.6 Notification of winners will be done by Visa via their agency, Bates 141. Winners will be notified through registered mail, phone, announced on radio and through print releases and published on http://www.visa-asia.com.ph. Winners will also be contacted by Bates141 for confirmation and instructions of how to claim their prizes.
4.7 Prizes must be claimed within 60 calendar days after the receipt of registered mail otherwise, they shall be forfeited and retained by Visa with prior DTI approval.
4.8 Any applicable prize tax will be paid by Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited.
4.9 Visa will not bear any shipping cost for the prizes. Transportation or other incidental costs incurred by the winner in traveling to the Bates141 Office and/or submitting proof of identification will likewise not be shouldered by the Promoter.
4.10 The Cardholder's Card account must be existing, valid and in good credit standing at the draw date to be eligible for the Promotion and prize.
4.11 Visa reserves the right to verify if the drawn entries are from eligible Cardholders.
4.12 A principal Card account is treated separately from the supplementary Card account. Entries for the principal account will be considered separate from entries of the supplementary account and vice versa.

Miscellaneous

Employees of Visa, TBWA\SMP, OMD, Bates141, Proximity, their suppliers and PR agencies including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
