Apply online for an HSBC Live+ Credit Card

You must have:

An existing locally-issued primary credit card owned for at least 6 months
A minimum annual income of PHP400,000

Proof of Identity with Complete name (at least one of the following)

i. Passport, Driver's License, SSS/TIN ID plus NBI Clearance or Voter's ID

Note: Proof of Identity should be valid (not expired), photo-bearing and contain date of birth.

Proof of Residence (Note: Must be under the name of the applicant)

i. Valid ID containing the address of the applicant
ii. Utility bills (electricity, landline phone, mobile phone or cable TV issued within the last 3 months and must match the permanent and primary address)

Who can apply?

To apply for an HSBC Live+ Credit Card, you must be aged 21 to 65 years old and:

Have a minimum annual income of PHP400,000
Hold a primary credit card that was issued in the Philippines, and which you've held for at least 6 months

To apply for an HSBC Live+ Credit Card, you must have:

A valid locally-issued primary credit card you've owned for at least 6 months
A minimum annual income of PHP400,000
Proof of identity with your full name: your passport, driver's license, SSS/TIN ID plus NBI clearance or voter's ID
Proof of residence under your name: a utility bill (electricity, landline phone, mobile phone or cable TV) issued within the last 3 months with an address that matches the permanent and primary address on your valid proof of identity

Note: Proof of identity should be valid (not expired), photo-bearing and containing your date of birth.

You'll also need to provide proof of identity with your application. We accept any one of the following:

SSS
TIN
GSIS
PASSPORT
DRIVING LICENCE
UMID
COMELEC/VOTER’S ID
PRC ID
PHILSYS ID

If you're an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), please provide any one of the following:

Certificate of Employment
Working visa or work permit as issued in your country or region of residence
OFW card as issued by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)
POEA certificate

Frequently asked questions

From launch until 30 November 2024:

The total cashback earned in a calendar month will be posted to the Primary Cardholder’s account by the fourth week of the next calendar month. The computation of the minimum spend requirement and the maximum cap will be done every calendar month.

Starting 1 March 2025

The total cashback earned during the customer’s monthly statement cycle will be posted in the Primary Cardholder’s account 2 working days after their statement’s cutoff date. Computation of the minimum spend requirement and the maximum cap will also be done during the account’s statement cycle cut-off.

You'll earn 0.2% cashback on all transactions with your card. But if you spend at least PHP10,000 in a statement cycle, you’ll earn cashback at accelerated rates of 8% for dining and 5% for shopping and entertainment.

Yes, you can earn up to PHP1,250 cashback per month. Caltex rebates will be capped at PHP600 per month.

Yes, you will not earn rebates for the following categories:

Spend categories:

Utilities, fuel, insurance, betting and gambling, education and government, real estate, toll fees, charity, legal, financial/quasi cash, drug stores and pharmacies

Card services and fees:

Balance transfer, Cash Instalment Plan and Straight-to-Instalment, cash advance, auto-charge, bills payment transactions done via HSBC online, fees and charges
